We welcome cyclists of all abilities, but a reasonable level of fitness recommended to ensure you get the best out of your trip!
Southern Mallorca is less well known, but in our opinion the best riding to be had on the island! There's beautiful backroads, stunning farmlands and great monastery climbs to be explored! The more forgiving terrain means that it is not as challenging as the mountainous north - that said, there's plenty of mileage to be done, and the scenery and quieter roads all add to what is a wonderful region to cycle in.
We specialise in women's cycling breaks and understand what's important to you in a cycling holiday. From our base in Colonia Sant Jordi, we will take you on a stunning exploration of this cycling paradise, giving you the opportunity to challenge yourself on the climbs, ride in like minded groups, and have plenty of fun along the way.
We recognise (and love the fact!) that there's super strong women riders out there, and also understand that there is a proportion of us who are still at the early stages of the cycling journey. Our camps cater for varying abilities and we typically split into smaller groups based on speed and / or experience.
All our rides are led by experienced ride leaders, who will be on hand to manage the group and help you with any mechanical issues on the road. There is a strong focus on team spirit on our tours, both on and off the bike, with rides generally ending up with refreshments near the beach! We pride ourselves on bringing together great groups of women keen to make new cycling friends and support each other on their cycling journeys.
We've included a sample programme of what to expect below, however we are keen to ensure that all needs are catered for, so this may be adapted to accommodate the abilities of the group. We promise to take you on some top rides, give you the chance to meet some new cycling companions and in many cases achieve more than you thought possible!
Day 1: Algaida and Santanyi (90km, 600m)

Today takes you on a tour of some of our favourite Camis! You'll head out via the Cami Des Palmer, which takes you up to the outskirts of the town of Llucmajor. You'll then skirt over to Algaida where we'll have a refreshment break in the square.
Moving towards home, you'll ride a short section along the service road before moving onto the quieter, more scenic roads via Porreres and Felanitx on your way back to Santanyi (our favourite town on the island!), before our final stretch through the town of Ses Salines back to Colonia.

Day 2: Randa and Cura (98km, 950m)

This route takes you inland towards Llucmajor, before starting a gradual climb towards the town of Randa. From here, the road ramps up as you work your way up the hillside to the very pretty Cura Monastery at the summit. At a distance of 4.5km and an average gradient of not more than 5%, this 500m climb is a perfect way to challenge the legs whilst being able to enjoy the wonderful views on your way up! With another famous Mallorcan climb safely tucked away, you'll head back down the way you came, happy in the knowledge that you have 10 km of (mostly) down hill before giving way to an undulating ride home.

Day 3: Coast road and Porreres (110km, 800m)

This ride takes you to the pretty town of Porreres, with its picturesque old town and a good selection of cafes. Your route there takes you along the MA-6014, which pops out on the southern coast of Mallorca and gives you some of the best views on the island. The road is typically fairly quiet, and a great surface to enable you to enjoy your surroundings! The route then loops inland, passing the outskirts of Llucmajor via the scenic inland country routes - you'll enjoy silky tarmac on excellent road surfaces, and superb undulating sections before hitting the town of Porreres. We'll have lunch here before the ride back to Colonia.
Day 4: Sa Rapita (80km, 450m)

Today's route heads to Sa Rapita, if for no other reason than to sample what is (in our opinion) the best cakes on the island!
We'll pass the town of Santanyi before heading down a stunning road to Campos - you can see for miles and after the initial climb out of Santanyi it tracks downhill so is easy riding! After a coffee here the route there follows a superb selection of smooth roads and camis (lanes) as it heads to the south coast at Sa Rapita. Only a few last kms to go to get back to base.
Day 5: Petra and the Bosch Valley (110km, 1000m)

This route undulates through the farmlands and roads of rural Mallorca. The route takes you through Manacor and out into a stunning valley surrounded by vineyards
There's a climb out of the valley, with some hairpins to navigate before you roll into Petra, where we'll have a stop in the square. The route then works back via the countryside around Felanitx and back to base.

Day 6: Sant Salvador (76km, 950m)

This route takes in the hilltop monastery of Sant Salvador, located just outside Felanitx. It heads out on a series of quiet but fast roads, and as you pass through Calonge you'll start to see the climb looming in the distance.
Sant Salvador is a c.5km climb, and steeper than most in Mallorca at 7%, but the views get better and better as you progress to the summit. The route back passes through Felanitx and Campos as you work your way back to base.
