Morzine is the European Mecca of mountain biking! Come and join us on an adventure exploring 5 bike parks and some fantastic natural single tracks around the Portes Du Soleil.

There are some stunning places to eat and drink as well as views to rival any in the world. This place should be on every mountain biker's "to-do list". Throughout the week we will explore some of the areas with some off-piste routes and others through the network of bike parks.

The pinnacle of this trip is our version of the Tour Portes Du Soleil which uses the lifts in the bike parks to get around but explore some breathtaking singletrack, views, and descents between France and Switzerland.

We will get your bike and kit to the chalet so all you need to worry about is getting yourself to the chalet ready to enjoy a great week of riding.
Day 1: Super Morzine & Avoriaz Bike Parks

Today we will explore some of the Green and Blue trails between the Morzine and Avoriaz Bike parks. These will give you the flavour of the mountains and a chance to experience the long flowing woodland sections as well as the manicured table tops of Super Morzine where if you are feeling brave you can test your ability at getting airborne.

After a day in the bike parks is back into Morzine town for drinks and food at one of the many great places to eat.

Day 2: St. Jean, Le Biot, Couvaloup, Seytrioux (40km, 1180m of climbing)

This is a great little out and back from Morzine that heads North West hugging the river until we reach Les Mouilles when bare right and begin our first climb to the top through St. Jean and past the landmark Abbaye d'Aulps. Once we reach the top of the climb you will be spoilt with views for miles and the fast gravel decent all the way to the valley floor.

From here we cross over the river to through Le Biot and the well know Fat Toms Tapas restaurant (great lunch stop) and start heading up the other side of the valley. Its up and down this side winding through some quaint towns back to the valley floor where we head back to Morzine for a well earned rest.
Day 3: Morzine, Avoriaz, Lindarets and Lake Montriond (26km, 1,083m of climbing)

Today starts with a long steady climb from Morzine along the road up towards Avoriaz when we peel off the road to carry on climbing through tight switch backs in the woods and finally up along a gravel road into Avoriaz village. We will stop here for a well needed break after our 8 mile climb where we can enjoy a good coffee and good views.

After this it is all down hill through the famous Lindarets goat village where we peel off to some beautiful single track that takes us all the way down to Lake Montriond. We can take a break here to go for a quick dip before heading through the village to the valley floor and back into Morzine.

Day 4: Rest Day or Bike Park Day

Today is your choice. You can use to go and explore the many villages, eateries and attractions that the Portes Du Soleil has to offer, using the lifts to get around. If that doesn't take your fancy we can then jump on the lifts and hit the bike parks for a the day. Either way this is a nice chilled day where you can take it at your own pace and do your thing.

At the end, we will relax with a cold drink and a BBQ that we will put on for you.

Day 5: The Big One - Tour du Portes Du Soleil (93km, 5,630m of up, not climbing)

This is the pinnacle tour of this trip but don't panic we will NOT be doing 5000m of climbing. This mammoth ride we use the chairlifts for most of the climbs so we just enjoy the downs. This trip takes us round the whole region, up through Avoriaz where we then head for Chatel. From here we cross the border into Switzerland and head for Morgin where we then go up and over on a stunning ride along fire road and single track round to the famous town of Champery. A quick break here while you wait for the Telecabine to start our journey back towards France. This will take us over the Mossette peak (2,250m) where wee ride through the mountains back across the border into France and head down towards Lindarets. This will pick up a section we did earlier in the week down past Lak Montriod to the valley floor where we hea back to Morzine. Once back its up the other side of the valley to head over to Le Gets where we will find some great single track in a loop that heads back to mozine r ell deserved finishing beer.

Day 6: The Final Day - Bike Parks and dinner out

For our final day we will head back to the bike parks where we can explore some of the reds and more technical trails that have to offer or if we are not feeling it then continue the blues. We can head further afield to Chatel or Lindarets.

Once we have finished here its back to the chalet for a refresh and then into town for a farewell meal from us to you just to say thanks for joining us!
